First Team All-Pro New Orleans Saints’ Offensive Tackle Ryan Ramczyk joins teammate Terron Armstead in a new partnership with Louisiana’s rising beverage company Hydra-Guard Sports Drink. The company that counts stars such as Denver Nuggets’ Paul Millsap, Minnesota Vikings’ Alexander Mattison and Dallas Cowboys’ Cedrick Wilson and Saints' teammate Terron Armstead among its top athletes, now welcomes the offensive team captain to its powerful roster of hydration.
Heading into his fourth season, Ramczyk has been everything the Saints hoped when they drafted him in the first round of the 2017 draft. In 2019, Ryan started all 16 games, blocking for a unit that was tied third in the NFL in both points per game and fewest sacks surrendered. Ryan and Armstead form one of the NFL’s dynamic duos at the tackle position. Since Ramczyk joined the team in 2017, the Saints have allowed the fewest sacks (65) in the league.
Throughout his four-year career, Ramczyk has also been named to the Associated Press All-Pro team in back-to-back seasons. He joins William Roaf as only the second Saints tackle to be named AP All-Pro twice.
As he looks forward to his fifth season with the Saints, he also pays close attention to his nutrition and recovery on and off the field. “Hydration is a key component that allows the body to perform to its max potential. That’s why I chose Hydra-Guard,” says Ramczyk.
The quickly rising natural sports drink originally launched in 2017 and expanded its footprint in recent years. CEO Joseph Tucker is very excited about the partnership with Ryan and says “Ryan is a game-changer on the field and has been a master of his craft in the NFL. It’s an absolute honor to be Ryan’s chosen sports drink for proper hydration.”
Ryan joined the Hydra-Guard as a brand ambassador in 2020 to complement his current training and journey in the NFL. “Hydra-Guard supplies my body with essential electrolytes and proper hydration, without the artificial ingredients or unnecessary sugars.”
